Also, once I get Vort, i use his bonfire to farm the Lothric Knights for their Armor, and sometimes Weapons. Mostly use this trick to buy gear, and ammunition (Light Crossbow, Mace, pay Andre for Infusion/Upgrades) then go beat up Vordt. (20,000 Souls) I use the Dragon, because it fries the Hollows for you, don't have to do nothing. The lower your level at the time, the less it will cost, but requires the Tower Key.
